Coast to coast across Sabah, Borneo, from the capital Kota Kinabalu by the South China Sea across the Crocker mountain range and through tropical rainforests, our journey will be as follows:-

| Day 1 | 34 miles | Head East from Kota Kinabalu and up into the Crocker mountain range. |
| Day 2 | 31 miles | 14 miles down the Crocker mountains, then up over the Sunsuron Pass (5,500ft). Then down to the Pegalan River and along the valley floor. |
| Day 3 | 35 miles | Through the rolling foothills of the Crocker range to Ranau. |
| Day 4 | 58 miles | Our longest journey, cycling out of the mountain foothills and along the Liwagu and Tassun Rivers |
| Day 5 | 50 miles | At last we enter mainly flat land dominated by palm oil plantations on route to Sandakan |
| Day 6 | Day off | Just time to catch our breath! |
| Day 7 | 16 miles | Our final stage of our journey to the coast, and Sandakan. |
